Tanning Cove is family owned and operated and has been serving the greater St. Petersburg/Tampa area at the same location for an exciting 3 years. At Tanning Cove we strive to exceed your expectations. Our staff is here to provide you with friendly and knowledgeable service.Tanning Cove never uses extreme pressure sales tactics on our clients, we don’t have to; Our salon, and pricing speak for themselves.

"Chic" has a few meanings: Active and fashionable are just two of them, however it has become snobbish for business. At Tanning Cove you will find neither. Our atmosphere is laid back and comfortable and you will not feel like you were just processed through a cookie cutter salon with an attitude.
Lisa DeGroot :: Manager
Lisa is attending school at St. Petersburg College she is in her second year and is majoring in Business Finance and management. At Tanning Cove Lisa will be there to meet all of your Tanning Needs, she also does the Airbrush Spray Tanning. She wants to make everyone happy and tries very hard to make your time at Tanning Cove enjoyable.
Ashley Cafiero :: Airbrush Technician
Ashley is a College Student here in St. Petersburg. She also does the Airbrush Spray Tanning here at Tanning Cove and does an excellent job. She is here almost every day either opening the store or closing it. She is very helpful and can answer any questions you might have whether it is about a Tanning Lotion or how long to stay in the Beds for.
Alexis Bader ::
Alexis is our newest addition as she finished High School at Northeast High she is our Tuesday night & Saturday girl. Alexis is always willing to help you figure out what bed to go into and for how long. She will always great you with a smile and help you acheive the Tan you desire.
Shirley & Dave DeGroot :: Owners
Shirley and Dave bought Tanning Cove from Michelle on October 1, 2010. They are very friendly and love working and owning Tanning Cove. They will always answer any questions you might have or thoughts about the salon to help us improve. Dave is our handy-man around here helping us with the Maintenance of the beds and making sure things are working properly. Shirley is here every Tuesday Morning and always greets you with a smile.
